SPRING – the Schizophrenia Policy and Research Institute NextGen – is a multi-year S&PAA initiative that brings together a diverse group of stakeholders to create and activate strategies for transforming the siloed system of care for people with schizophrenia into a path toward recovery.
SPRING is a collaboration of people with lived experience, treatment providers, researchers, community leaders and policymakers – all of whom share a mission to ensure people living with schizophrenia have access to proper treatment and are given the chance to recover and thrive.
S&PAA’s SPRING Summit is the initiative’s marquee event, which convenes these schizophrenia stakeholders in Washington, D.C. Each summit addresses different barriers to care and focuses on strategies to break down those barriers. The inaugural SPRING Summit in 2024 drove creation of the Roadmap to Recovery.
Together, we are identifying community-driven solutions to create a new schizophrenia treatment journey that supports recovery.
