We’re celebrating caregivers–
In the Name of Love
Hear the stories of hope, love and challenges shared by caregivers in our community as part of National Family Caregivers Month.
Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance (S&PAA) has a long and distinguished history of serving as a guiding light for those living with schizophrenia. In 2008, a steering committee of consumers, families and providers across the United States formed to create an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with schizophrenia and related brain disorders. Schizophrenia and Related Disorders Alliance of America (SARDAA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization by founder Linda Stalters, M.S.N., A.P.R.N. (Ret.) who served as CEO for 12 years. In 2021, we rebranded and relaunched as Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance.
We have grown from these strong roots to become a catalyst for change. We are shattering the barriers to treatment, survival and recovery for people living with schizophrenia and those who care for them.
